The e-vignette user charge system applies to motorcycles, automobiles and their trailers, as well as cargo vehicles with a maximum permissible gross weight of 3.5 tons, campers and buses, and their towed vehicles.
Validity
- 1 day: valid until midnight on the selected day. The 1-day vignette always starts and ends on the same calendar day (Hungarian time zone).
- 10 days: valid for 10 consecutive calendar days, until 24:00 on day number 10, from the moment of purchase.
- Monthly: valid from the day of purchase until midnight of the same day of the following month. If there is no such day in the month of expiry, then by 24:00 on the last day of the month.
- Annual (13 months): valid from the first day of the respective year until January 31st of the following year, 24:00 (in total, 13 months if the purchase is made in January 1 of the respective year). The annual e-vignette (e-matrix) ensures the authorized use of toll roads from the date of its purchase, but is not retroactively valid.
